Congrats to alumni Jeremy Abbott for his win for best direction in a comedy for Geoff and the Ninja!

Working with BCITs Make+ department to prototype some foam pieces to safely transport our gear. Wonderful people to work with! Will use a water jet for the final cut, but the cardboard is great for a test run in the laser cutter before cutting the expensive stuff.

Very impressed with this great group today! Responsible for the video production of the 2019 Shamrock Dance Competition. Turned out great and everyone loved it (except for the Facebook content censor who took exception to the music usage). Looking for ways to get it online again later!

Special thanks to alumni Daniel Keen from 604 Records for coming in today to chat with the students about music video production. Dan has been working nationwide and producing videos for a wide variety of amazingly talented artists such as Miguel, Marianas Trench, One Bad Son, Fionn, Jojo Mason, Mathew V and many more!

Second year client project with the Surrey Food Bank. Really looking forward to helping this very worthy group with a student production.

Second year TV production students working on a client project for the Regional Animal Protection Society. Amazing hospital facilities (right near the Richmond Auto Mall) open to the public as well!

Todays unusual fundraiser for student productions involved a 50/50 pool and 6,000,000 Scoville hot sauce. Not entirely sure there were any winning players in this game.
