Make use of videos. Instagram recently announced that they are transitioning to a more video-based app. What does this mean for you? While the change doesn't mean to stop posting photos, it means that you need to start making reels, posting more videos, doing lives and IGTV, if you haven't already done so. Instagram prioritizes reels, which means they will push this content to other accounts more than any other piece of content in the app. With that being said, it is important to incorporate these pieces of content into your strategy to maximize your reach!

Clients always ask me: "how often do I need to post?" Like most things in life, the key is CONSISTENCY. Numbers don't necessarily matter, as long as you are consistently showing up. I always say as a general rule of thumb, aim for at least 3 posts per week. This is enough to ensure you are being consistent but also enough not to overwhelm you in setting up unrealistic goals for yourself. If you feel you need help with creating a strategy and maintaining a consistent online... presence, we are happy to help! . . [email protected] See more

Naturally, I'm someone who is very comfortable in front of the camera and thought everyone was like me until we shot our first video series with our client. I could just feel the nerves creep in as we were setting them up and placed the camera in front of them. To help them, I kept the camera rolling without them knowing. I told them to just talk to me. Tell me why we were filming and what they wanted to say. We eventually got them to loosen up and got the shots we wanted. If you struggle being on camera, the best practice you could do is to just keep taking videos of yourself, no matter how awkward or weird you feel. The more you practice being on camera, the more comfortable you'll start to feel.
