Hope this email finds everyone safe and healthy. Like most, I am sure we are all missing lacrosse and sports in general right now as we continue to navigate these uncertain times. We appreciate your patience in regards to BC's Best as this has been unprecedented for us in our 10 years of operating this event and we have continued to attempt for the best possible outcome based on the numerous restrictions, limitations and other sanctioned rules that have been put in place. ... Unfortunately, we are now at the point where the tough decision has to be made to forgo this year. Based on an unset recruiting calendar and restrictions still in place, border limitations, lacrosse and gathering restrictions from the province and PSO, and a general uneasiness on what the future looks like we have decided to NOT host BC's Best this summer. We had been trying to avoid this outcome as it has been a very hard year for these kids (especially 2020 grads) but we feel as if we have now passed the point of running the event professionally and successfully like we strive to do every year. We had hoped for a possible August date to be set and there is still a small chance that may happen but until the many factors above all fall in line that is too difficult to predict and plan for. If that changes orif a fall date is a possibility we will be sure to reach out to all immediately. Thank you for your patience and understanding. This was a difficult decision for us to make and one we wish we didn't have to do. Assuming life gets back to normal we will be back next year and look forward to the return of BC's Best. Happy Father's Day to all the lacrosse dads!

Hello, We hope this email finds you and your families well during these unique times. It has certainly been a challenge for everyone to adjust to the new normal in the Province, and across the globe. Unfortunately, but likely not surprising to any, we are informing you of a cancellation of the date of June 3, 2020 for BC’s Best.... We are working with coaches and programs in an attempt to secure another date in mid to late July or possibly even August. The BC health authority, border control, CLA, and the NCAA will be the main determining factors as to if and when we can choose another date. We will inform you as soon as possible. For those who have registered already we will hold your registration until we determine if we can hold the event or not this year. For those who have not registered please feel free to do so but please do not pay until we are confirmed the event will occur. Until then stay safe. We will inform you as soon as possible.
