Both Christopher and Meghan spend countless days planning trips and training opportunities for us as well as spending months away from home coaching athletes all around the country and the world.... What lesson(s) has your coach instilled in you? If you're not 15 minutes early, you're late. Other than the sport they coach you in, what sport would you like to watch your coach try? Speed skating, I think it would be very entertaining to watch them try and skate with the big blades! What is an important skill your coach has that makes them a good coach? They both have an interest in and are willing to learning new skills that will further their development as coach’s as well as the development of all their athletes. Why do you want to say thanks, coach? Thanks for working with me for the last eight years! I know that is a big number, but it has gone by in a flash, we have gone to some cool places and there has never been a dull moment in our pursuit of excellence. Call out for suitable candidates - Canada Snowboard's Board of Directors As a national sport organization, Canada Snowboard is governed by an elected Board of Directors. The board helps to shape and direct the current practices and future development of competitive snowboarding in Canada by setting the overall strategic priorities and strategy. 4 positions are up for election. Submissions need to be in before October 1 2020. Please only apply if well qualified for the potential position and please forward this on to suitable Board candidates who may help shape the sport in Canada into the future.

The School of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia is conducting an online research survey ('Examining Developmental Trajectories in Youth Sport') for parents with at least one child or youth participating in organized sport. This survey will be asking parents to share the following type of information: birth year, number and types of sports participated in the last year, and level of sport play (e.g., competitive, recreational).
