This cutie was found wandering near the airport in Prince George and was brought into the BC SPCA North Cariboo District Branch. Staff checked him over for any identification in hopes of reuniting him with his guardians. Luckily, this fella had a tattoo in his ear and his humans were called right away. The family almost didn’t believe the news this was their cat Noir, who had been missing for FIVE years! Noir was in pretty good condition considering, we suspect someone may... have been taking care of him. We may never know what adventures Noir got up to in those five years, we are just so happy he is now safe at home. This wonderful story highlights the importance of permanent identification for pets. Although there is no statistically significant difference in damage between tenants with pets and tenants without pets, finding pet-friendly housing in B.C. is challenging to say the least. In life, Forever Guardian Ursula Thomas was a gifted musician, poet, and animal lover.
