Recall a time when you surrendered something you were trying to make happen in a way you wanted it to happen, and instead let it unfold in its own way. What ha...ppened? What was that experience like for you? What did you learn from this? Small steps matter, and they matter to your soul. It counts every time you take even a small action that feels foreign but right for you. "What are we REALLY doing here?" our online circle, helps support you through every step you take. http://www.deeplivinginstitute.org//what-are/2019-10-10/2/ This post includes excerpts from Roxanne Howe-Murphy’s Deep Living. #enneagram #deepliving #trusttheprocess #trust #trustwalk #insight #personality #journalprompt #journaling
One of the greatest paradoxes that we encounter in our dedication to know the truth is that our personality takes us exactly in the opposite direction of what w...ill nourish and satisfy us at the deepest level. Recognizing this takes radical honesty. Practice radical honesty with this journaling prompt: Remember a time when you came to a totally new realization about yourself that felt deeply true. Perhaps you saw yourself in a completely different light. Maybe you received feedback from a caring person that dissolved some old idea you had about yourself. Try writing about that experience. What old idea or illusion about yourself did you release? How did that affect you? This radical honesty can be further explored in our online circle, "What are we REALLY doing here?" http://www.deeplivinginstitute.org//what-are/2019-10-10/2/ This post includes excerpts from Roxanne Howe-Murphy’s Deep Living. #enneagram #deepliving #radicalhonesty #paradox #insight #personality #journalprompt #journaling
Recognizing your personality patterns can be embarrassing and full of grief. Having compassion means that you do your best to meet yourself with non-judgement ...and kindness where you are right now, even if there’s pain, even if there are aspects of yourself that you would rather not acknowledge. Try this exercise for developing compassion: Remember a time when you felt real compassion, preferably towards yourself. If you can’t remember that, then the compassion could have been around something or someone that you cared about. How did it affect you to experience this compassion? What was different about it for you? Our online circle, "What are we REALLY doing here?" examines these qualities and more - view details here: http://www.deeplivinginstitute.org//what-are/2019-10-10/2/ This post includes excerpts from Roxanne Howe-Murphy’s Deep Living. #enneagram #deepliving #compassion #selfcompassion #insight #personality #journalprompt #journaling
Remember a time when you were truly curious about a situation or about an aspect of yourself that had some significance for you. What was it that allowed you t...o be curious? What did you discover? What was the impact of this discovery on you? Being curious is already available to you; naming it is a way to remember to open to and access them. To learn and experience more about these qualities, check out our online circle, What are we REALLY doing here? This post includes excerpts from Roxanne Howe-Murphy’s Deep Living. #enneagram #deepliving #curiosity #insight #personality #journalprompt #journaling http://www.deeplivinginstitute.org//what-are/2019-10-10/2/
I'm really excited to be offering this online course through the Deep Living Institute with my friend and colleague Irma Velasquez. Parents: You are the ones with special needs. Please pass this on to anyone you think that could benefit.
I'm happy to be part of the Deep Living Institute and looking forward to attending this workshop by Roxanne Howe-Murphy
We (Devon Wortz-Carter and Brian) are excited to be offering this virtual workshop again. We both have gained so much from tuning into the intelligence that comes from our somatic awareness - and have developed several tools to help clients increase their somatic awareness and access to the intelligence of their bodies. All of this helps both ourselves and our clients build a capacity for embodied presence. We are offering it at two different times - morning sessions or evening sessions to open it up to wider number work schedules and time zones. We hope you can join us!
The deadline to register for this weekend workshop is coming up on November 10! If we have spaces left after that, we will accept late registrations. But if you need childcare, we would really appreciate getting your registration soon, so we can make the necessary arrangements.
I'm grateful for the support of both Saskatoon Unitarians and Affirm United/S'affirmer Ensemble to enable this workshop. I look forward to working with all that sign up!
I absolutely love my work - and I'm filled with gratitude for the people I get to work with. The following message was posted by one of these amazing people - and being reposted with her permission. Thanks Tanya Coulthard! "Gratitude today on a more personal note..Life coaching..A few years ago, I wasnt where I wanted to be within my relationships and within myself. I knew of a couple things I wanted to change , so I had the chance to try a life coaching session (with Bri...an Mitchell-Walker ) I thought ..Ok , get in, do a couple sessions, (throw Ian in there too so I feel more comfortable) fix a couple things (if this actually works) and call it a day. Well 5-6 ish years later and I cant believe the changes I have made in my life. I am more aware of who I am and where I want to be and what is important in my life. My awareness of what is healthy for me and what I should let go of (past or present) is no longer such a struggle. I can feel what is right for me and what perhaps I need to look at changing. My heart is no longer as shut off to everything around me. I feel so much more connected not only to life , but to myself. Life Coaching MAY or MAY NOT be for you, but perhaps Reiki, or crystals, or soul therapy, Theta Healing or Float YXE or ???? I encourage everyone to try unique and various ways to connect more with life and with yourself" See more
For everyone that considers either themselves or their lives as a hot mess. Here I also name the wonderful wisdom of Robert Holden and Louise Hay. I would love to hear your wisdom! http://www.yourtango.com//just-because-your-life-hot-mess-
I am humbled by the wisdom that emerges from the clients I get to work with. One woman's wisdom that emerged when trying to change a recurring pattern in her life - is so simple and yet creates changes so profound - that I've passed it on every chance I get.
