Be YOUR Church's Champion 03.04.2021

I received my Daily Devotion this morning from In Touch Ministries and wanted to share it with you all... A Courageous Life Ephesians 1:18-21... When we recognize God’s presence with us, courage starts to develop in us. It grows as we draw on His strength. Without God’s power, we’ll find that hardship and stress drain us emotionally and hurt us physically, leaving us vulnerable to Satan’s attacks. After 40 years of wandering, the nation of Israel was in such a state. They should have believed the two spies who trusted in the Lord’s presence and power. But instead, allowing their weakness to hold sway, the people sided with the remaining ten spies, who claimed the Canaanite obstacles were too great (Num. 13:26-32). In contrast, Paul faced the Roman tribunal after enduring great hardship but was not dismayed, because God stood with him and strengthened him. Times of helplessness and weakness are in reality opportunities to receive an abundance of divine power (Phil. 4:13). Being yielded to God’s purposes is essential for developing courage. Paul knew God had a plan for every event in his lifeeven the hardest ones. Instead of seeking a way out of trials, accept God’s way, and you’ll find courage welling up from within. Imagine yourself standing next to God, drawing on His strength. Be blessed this Wednesday!

Hi All! I wondered if I could ask a favour from each of you? Planning starts early and we are planning for 2021 already. Part of the planning involves charities that are important in our lives. Charities like The Cancer Society and The Alzhemiers Society, etc. are good examples.... I wondered if you could take a few seconds and post a quick message, to me and others, listing 3 charities that are important in your life. Important may mean that the charities affect you personally or it could mean it has affected your family or friends. Take a few seconds and provide your thoughts. Thanks...be blessed!

Hi and Good Morning, I read my daily devotion this morning and wanted to share it with you. The daily devotion is sent to me each morning from In Touch Ministries and this mornings was great and a great reminder of the sacrifice Jesus made for each and every one of us. June 27, 2020... Life’s Greatest Gift John 3:16-21 "Everyone loves presents, yet many people reject the greatest gift ever given. This gift is God’s Son, and the term only begotten expresses His uniqueness. There has never been anyone else like Jesus, who is truly God and truly human. He is the only One who lived a perfect life and died as a sinless sacrifice in the place of sinful humanity. When God gave the gift of His Son, mankind had two options. They could either accept Jesus by faith or reject Him. This is the most important choice a person will ever make, because the outcome has eternal ramifications. God will one day judge the people He has created, and that judgment will be on the basis of what they have done with the gift of His Son. Those who believe in the Savior will not be condemned, because they have received eternal life. However, John 3:18 says whoever doesn’t believe has already been judged and condemned for unbelief. The determining factor between the accepters and the rejecters is the object of their love. Those who refuse God’s Son love their sin and don’t want to change. But believers come to Christ because they love the truth and desire righteousness. Which one are you?" Be blessed today!!

Happy Father's Day All! Just a quick message to wish the best to all fathers on this special day. Being a father means so much and some times it might be difficult but often times it is some of the best experiences a father can have. I think back to all of the times with my children and remember them fondly. I wanted to send out a quick prayer...... 'Heavenly Father, we come to you today to lift up all fathers on their special day. I pray that today will be relaxing, productive and special for all fathers who are being honoured today. I pray that You bless each father by giving them rest and encouragement. I pray that you ease any struggles and hard situations. I pray that you strengthen and rejuvenate each father right now. As we pray together to You Lord, we know and like that You are in control. We pray for blessings today. And Heavenly Father, we also ask for blessings for people today who are missing their fathers. I pray today that You heal the hurting hearts of those who miss their fathers. I pray that You replace worry, regret or loneliness with joyful memories. I pray that You comfort each of those who are missing their father's today. Thank you Lord for all that You do. Keep us close and safe and bless each and every father. Amen' Have a wonderful day...be blessed!
