I LOVE all those in between moments. A wedding day has so so many of these little moments that are actually BIG moments. This wedding was filled with so many big smiles and belly laughs. I am feeling all warm and fuzzy that I got to capture it.

This is why I love photographing families with small children. It is so easy to capture personality. Kids are still so untamed that a camera doesn't phase them.

This photo popped up as a memory today. Its a self portrait from years ago. I take one look at this photo and I can instantly feel how cold my feet were that day haha. There was still snow on the ground in some areas and I had to wear rubber boots to get to this house. And we all know rubber boots dont go with this dress so naturally I opted for bare feet all in the name of art :)

This right here is why I LOVE cherry blossom season!!! Gah! Its so darn pretty. Fun fact - this photo is of my husband and I taken a few years back on the day we moved in together. So maybe the cherry blossoms arent the only reason I love this photo what season do you guys like the most? Fall is always such a popular choice but I think we all need to give spring a chance.

Ive been so quiet lately. Most might think its because of this crazy pandemic and the fact that Ive been trying to reschedule all the weddings I had booked for this year but I actually have an even better reason. GUYS....I had a baby! Yup! In December we welcomed the sweetest little girl (swipe right). So Ive been taking my version of maternity leave. Which consists of still doing a lot of backend work in my business. Hello new website! But now that its warm outsi...de and the government says Im allowed to work I want to get things going! And as youve probably heard me mention a millions times before May is my favourite month to shoot because everything starts to bloom! We have cherry blossoms and lilacs! Im planning on hosting mini sessions again this year so make sure to watch out for those details coming soon. Or comment below and Ill make sure to send you all the details! Alright folks! This years grad is gonna look a lot different but it doesnt mean we shouldnt document and celebrate when the world returns to normal. Its such a pivotal point in your lives and just because the days are super weird right now just remember this to shall pass. And Ill be smiling ear to ear seeing all of you in your sweet suits and dresses when its finally time to document it all. Hang tight

This photo of my husband and I was taken FIVE years ago! It blows my mind how much life has changed since then. We now have three children, two dogs, and a home. So much can happen in such a little amount of time. I know the world is crazy right now but I cant help but daydream of what the next five years is going to look like. What will my newest babies personality be like? What amazing new people will I meet though my work? What colour will I finally decide to paint the walls of my living room? If youve ever met me you know that I spend a lot of time day dreaming.....its were I get my best ideas.
