Audrey Hepburn Beauty does begin on the inside, does it not? And as we age if we have not properly cared for our site, the eyes begin to grow dim. As well as, if we have enjoyed much laughter in life, the outside of our eyes begin to tell a tale on us. While we may enjoy displaying our laughs of days... gone by, it is perfectly honorable to display it a bit more slowly. Not to mention, the frustration that may come with trying to read a small passage, needing to find your reading glasses only to have a child point out they are in fact, on your head... So we begin with today, the eye protocol. GARY YOUNG'S AMAZING EYE PROTOCOL Gary Young had used this blend for his patients at the Ecuador clinic for macular degeneration, health issues, cataracts, and for general sight improving. He had them blend 5 drops each, Rosemary, Frankincense, and Cypress with 1 tablespoon of V6 carrier oil. The patient would add 2 drops to the eye twice daily. For those with cataracts lens implants, the protocol recommended was around the eye. I have been a patient myself of the same clinic in Ecuador as was my husband. One of the treatments he had cured him of severe sleep apnea and he now never uses a cpap machine. This is of course, a personal testimony, just a story to share our experience. When I hear of something used in the clinic that might benefit myself, I am quick to put it into action. After experimenting with this protocol in my eyes, I found them to be a little sore the next day so I have opted to use the serum around the eyes, as close as possible without actually putting the oil in my eyes. VALENTINE’S DAY SUGAR SCRUB Ingredients: 1 cup Organic Cane Sugar 1/2 cup Organic Coconut Oil... 2-3 Tablespoons Almond Oil 1/3 cup Himalayan Sea Salt 1 Tablespoon or 3 Capsules Vitamin E Oil Peppermint Essential Oil 1-2 Drops Pink Food Coloring Combine all dry ingredients in medium size mixing bowl and stir together with a whisk. Add in all oils and stir until wet and dry are evenly combined. Add in 1-2 drops of the pink food coloring and fold together with spatula. Once food coloring is all mixed in, disperse evenly into small mason jars. I ended up needing a bit more cane sugar which I added at the end after I decided my scrub wasn’t coarse enough. Each batch filled 5, 4 ounce mason jars, but you could make larger servings if only making a few. In my case I needed to make 20 so I just repeated the recipe four times. There you have it!
