Wonderful to see everyone still so supportive of our proposed development! Everything is very much moving forward and dates have been set as to when we will start prepping the site. All things of quality take time, and with the help of our District of Clearwater we hope to be able to be in the construction stage sooner than later. Our efforts with the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure have proven successful and a preliminary plan for access has been presented. Mr. McMahon has agreed to work closely with Bear View Development, and will be instrumental in the proposed road access and construction. Thank you again for your support, and we hope to have more to report again soon. :-)

Bear View Development presented to the District of Clearwater Council last night asking them for their support with our proposed frontage road, as we are completing our Permit Application with the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure. Fingers crossed that our Council sees the importance of this frontage road system to this development as well as to the Community in general and gives us their support. We still have not received the first reading on our application to amend the OCP, however this is a step in the right direction!! :-) We will keep you posted on their decision.

Spring has arrived and tourists are already touring!! Wouldn't it be nice if Clearwater was in a better position to lure them into our amazing community to see what all we have to offer?? Please keep up the continuous support we have been receiving as it is your voice that will make this happen!!

Thank you to everyone who has supported us with the Bear View Development. Our presentation to Council last night was a success. We now must focus on putting together the comprehensive plan that the DOC is requesting before making a decision to amend the OCP. This is going to be a huge undertaking, but Bear View Development is not ready or willing to give up. It is the support from the community that will give us our strength!!

We will be presenting the Bear View Development proposal at the next regular Council meeting on March 5th at 7:00pm. Feel free to come to the council meeting in support of Bear View Development!!!

Clearwater is growing and so are we, Bear View Development is excited to introduce a "Place of Gathering"! Over the past several years Clearwater's Information Centre has proven to be one of BC's busiest Information Centres, mostly based on visiting numbers to the Information Centre via highway drop-ins. This information and data is important for the community as we see many lost tourist dollars head down the highway to the next large centres. What makes Clearwater different ...besides its obvious natural beauty, is that the community has more than one "downtown". This can be rather confusing for the average traveler to find their way around. Although most would agree it is nice for the locals to have the community a little spread out and not condensed, the fact is that to the traveler Clearwater can be missed in just a few blinks of the eyes. We have prime highway frontage land that with a little development such as Bear View, it is not impossible to lure more travelers into the community. Feel free to take a look at the engineered drawings for our beautiful "green" building. As you will notice there will be ample space for local businesses to rent quality business space. A bright open building concept displaying the wood and rock elements that we are so very much fond of in this area. Bear View Development will add to the beauty of the community!
