Hey Y’all! It’s been a long while since I’ve shown up here. Thank you to everyone who has recently reach out to see where the **** I was. Not only has 2020 been... a whirlwind for this farm business but I have realized, I’m going need some help with all things that happen here at @arc_acres. The local food and farming industry has exploded this year and I can’t keep up. The last two months I have been hiding out between my butcher shops and in my freezer making meat orders. We have cut, wrapped, sorted and filled freezers with over 15000lbs of grass fed beef for the coming winter months. No joke.....I almost lost my mind trying to deal with the influx of folks flocking to local healthy meat and endless emails of orders. Hence the pig ears. I just put my head down and never looked up until I got to the end of the list. That’s today. Under my heavy layers of endless wool and feather filled jackets, I look lean and ready for a body building competition. #meatlifters Really tho, I’m ready for a nice long winter nap and getting back to you guys and chatting about farming. Hope your all doing well out there. Find us at our usual @ottawafarmmkt booth every Sunday at Lansdowne. Next Sunday our Christmas markets start. It’s a great spot to get local everything! Here's how it works: The basic Family Meal Deal that I am offering is 4 burgers, Family Fry and 4 pop for 35$, I dont no anywhere you can feed a family of 4 for that price. You can call for this and it will be 35$ Here's where the Flexibility comes in, let's say you want 2 of those burgers to be Cheeseburgers, you can add that to the base 35$ price, you want 2 burgers and 2 hot dog's I will deduct the difference between the burger and hot dog from the 35$ price, you want a Family poutine instead of fries I will adjust the price again from the 35$ base, your a family of 3 I will adjust the price accordingly. Add, subtract or modify from 35$ the choice is yours.I hope everyone understands what I wrote here. It's all about saving a few $$$ at a time when we need it most.
