I thought I had same fish as yesterday but this one was a few inches smaller.

Big pike are always a nice surprise when jigging for walleye.

Bear paw landing added a new outpost this year. Be the first to book a trip to this amazing place. Close to bear hunting stands. With amazing fishing. This cabin is the only cabin on the lake. With lake trout and giant northern pike. There is also a walleye lake available with a short walk portage.

Merry Christmas From the frozen north. What a year it’s been! I tried to make the best of things with lots of projects at camp this summer. I’ll share some photos of a few of the projects that were happening during the last year!

Only 2 days left until latest batch of Chaga Tincture is compete. After picking the Chaga, I dry for 12 months. At that point the double extract process starts which takes another 95 days.

Words can’t describe what it meant for me to host the family Reunion for Gordy Bentley and his family. The Bentleys ran The Archery Center of Madison from 1964 to 1989, and the Bear Paw Landing bear-hunting camp in Wabigoon, Ontario, from 1968 to 1992, but their influence on archery and bowhunting still extend across Wisconsin and the United States. Another great day of fishing with Pete Hatfield and myself. 31 walleyes over 28. And a personal best of 30.25 . Pete also caught two walleyes over 30 4 of the walleyes were over 13 lbs.

I had a fun Father’s Day weekend fishing with Jim Pathos and Jim’s daughter Anastasia . Ana caught her first Walleye, and first small mouth bass. Jim caught a nice northern pike .

Last Day , Tuna fishing was great. Fished 11 miles from shore. A little bit windy. Captain wanted to go back to shore early!

Enjoying a few days of down time in Cabo wile waiting for the snow to melt at camp. I can’t wait to get back in the woods.
