All Heart & Stroke completion cards expiring between March 2020 through August 2020 will be considered valid for entry into Heart & Stroke renewal courses of the same discipline until September 30, 2020. Interim Training Courses part 1 expiry date extended to September 30, 2020 Heart & Stroke launched interim courses & virtual offerings during the pandemic for essential training. Successful participants of Part 1 BLS, ACLS or PALS interim training will earn a temporary certificate, now valid until September 30, 2020. This temporary certificate indicates students passed the virtual cognitive component. Healthcare providers can use their temporary certificate to take Part 2 interim training. Following the successful completion of Part 2 interim training, the student will earn a full Provider Certification.
