Abbotsford Female hockey Association is putting on our Annual Learn to play Hockey program March 15-18 for any girls that would like to try hockey. This is a gr...eat opportunity for girls born between the years of 2010-2016 to come out and try hockey in a pressure free environment. No skating experience required. Coaches from Beaudies house of hockey will be coaching this event. They have a wealth of experience with kids that can and Can not skate so please don't be worried if you daughters cant skate. You will need full equipment for this event. Our association does have some equipment so please let me know if your daughter needs some or If you know someone with equipment just ask if you can borrow some. Warrior Academy of Skating: is designed for skaters of all ages and experiences. Whether you’ve never been on the ice or have skated for several years, we have ...designed a program to teach the proper fundamentals of skating. Players will learn about balance, stride, open hips, posture, edge and much more. Skating Academy will help prepare students for Figure Skating, Hockey, Ringette and additional BHOH programs. Early Bird Special: Register before March 1st and SAVE $100.00 Our Total Ringette Development Program is designed for all levels and ages. Coaches, will combine... the technical fundamentals of skating with the physical and tactical skills of shooting and scoring. BHOH Coaches will train players once a week to improve and enhance their Skating, Skills and Conditioning while allowing for the last 15-minutes of each ice session for a 4 on 4 Ringette Scrimmage. (In compliance with PHO for April, May and June) Athletes registering for Program B should be prepared to train at a high level of activity to reach the next competitive level of the sport. The program is designed to develop and improve ringette skills as well as contribute to the overall development of the athlete. Athletes will be pushed out of their comfort zone in preparation for the upcoming season. The primary focus will be on proper skating and skills movement to increase player speed and agility. BHOR Pro-Coaches will cover formal and corrective instruction in proper balance and weight transfer, elongated strides and leg recovery for speed, open hips, inside/outside edges, pivots and transitions, power starts, explosive maneuvers, stopping, as well as cross-overs both forwards and backwards. In addition, players will also work on their rings skills in passing, shooting, and timing. Program A: U10, U12, U14, U16 @ 5:45-7:00 pm Mid-beginner to intermediate level players Maximum number of player in total for Program 18 If at maximum capacity there will be (3) stations with (2) coaches per station allowing for 2:6 Coach to Student ratio Players will be divided by skill level then age Program B: U12, U14, U16, U19 @ 7:15-8:30 pm Intermediate to advanced level of players (Zone and High Performance) Maximum number of player in total for Program 18 If at maximum capacity there will be (3) stations with (2) coaches per station allowing for 2:6 Coach to Student ratio Players will be divided by skill level then age Start and end dates are subject to change based on the guidance of government and health agencies If BC government officials deem Ice Ringette a sport that can no longer be pursued in Phase 2 we will provide credits and/or refunds If BC government officials deem Ice Ringette Scrimmages can not take place though April to June we will make program adjustments as needed

Competitive Edge Hockey Training is a 2-part program designed to further develop an athletes skating and skills. CEHT is for Male & Female athletes at the hous...e and/or intermediate player level looking to train twice a week with one night dedicated to the biomechanics of hockey skating and improving techniques such as agility, explosiveness s and deception while the second night dedicated to skills such as stickhandling, shooting and puck control. These twice a week sessions will focus on each specific area of development with repetitive training, and game like situations. If the PHO allows we will conclude with a 3on3 Pond Hockey Scrimmage. Session 1 Dates: April 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 30, May 3, 5, 10, 12 Session 2 Dates: May 17, 19, 26, 31, June 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21 Day/Time: Female - Mondays & Wednesdays @ 5:00 - 6:00 pm (5 weeks / 10 classes) Male - Mondays & Wednesdays @ 6:15 - 7:15 pm (5 weeks / 10 classes) beaudieshockey.ca/os/Wariors-Hockey/CEHT
