Yesterday that raddest girl, Mushroom, came walked into our shop! She is visiting Vancouver from Hong Kong and was looking for a completely different business when she stumbled into our shop. Immediately she was inspired by the space and her jaw dropped when she learned that this was also home to 43 artist studios and nearly 100 artists! She did a mini tour and left feeling that it was ‘meant to be’. Thanks for the lovely visit Mushroom! Until we meet again!... She also happens to be a rad jeweller! The Beaumont Boutique is the brainchild of Jude Kusnierz. Jude Kusznierz is the founder of the Beaumont Artist Studios in mount pleasant - home to over 40 studios and over 100 artists. Spread across two buildings that sit on the corner of 5th and Alberta; The Beaumont Studios is a place where there is never a dull moment! Several months ago Jude was sitting in the Beaumont 1 and was looking around feeling like she was in a thrift store. ... One thing at a time - one foot in front of the other, and suddenly she has put together a unique THRIFT STORE smack dab in the middle of the Beaumont studios. With collaged floors and chandeliers - This is a space you gotta see to believe!
