New government restrictions have been put into place until December 15. We will let you know how this affects the remainder of this season and the new January season when we hear from Alberta Basketball or EYBA. Continue to watch Facebook and email for updates.

The ABA Board of Directors approved the Return to Play: Phase 2 - Return to Modified Training - Small Groups and Phase 3 - Return to Modified Games. The Albert...a Basketball Return to Play Guidelines outline sport-specific details and are in accordance with the Canada Basketball’s Return to Basketball document and fits within the Government of Alberta’s Relaunch Strategy. This document provides guidelines and resources such as a declaration of compliance, individual waivers, daily attestation forms, and trace logs that will support a phased return to basketball. With the launch of Stage 1 of the ...Province of Alberta’s Relaunch Strategy, there has been some confusion which has lead to varying interpretations. To clarify, at this time, organized basketball activities by individual clubs/organizations and communities are not sanctioned or insured. COVID UPDATE: Although the Alberta Government has entered into phase 1 of reopening businesses and parks we caution all members to be cautious and respect the ...rules and guidelines set out by Alberta Health Services. WE ARE NOT out of the woods yet and if we want to get back to our beloved sport sooner than later it is crucial we are not playing pick up games, sharing balls / water balls and other equipment. We minimize our group sizes , and maintain social distancing and sanitizing policies. We too have been contacted about many other organizations offering small group training outdoors, this has NOT been approved yet. Please don’t contribute to having more courts shut down due to negligence.
