When it comes to looking after your skin post needling or not, a safe sunscreen should be part of the program. Wearing a sunscreen on your face is essential to prevent further UVA and UVB damage. If you are home rolling or medical needling then a sunscreen is a must. There is no point treating those pigment spots on your face only to leave them uncovered for the sun to stimulate them more.
