Beautiful Inside Academy

Today I have had a bit of a personal revelation. Growing up I was always the good girl. I knew what was expected of me and I wanted to do my very best to live to the highest standard of those expectations. I have been giggling today as I realized that I am actually a bit of a rebel. A rebel in the sense that I rebel against my own inner limiting belief systems that attempt to hold me back and do the internal work to move past them. I rebel against the limitations that ...others attempt to put on me or the boxes that they want to keep me in. I rebel against the labels that attempt to keep my voice small or my ability to set boundaries for myself and be told I am controlling for doing so. I am a rebel with a cause! I am on a mission and have been creating a movement in the hearts and minds of teenage girls for the past 14 years. I empower them to rebel against all that attempts to keep them small and not live in the full expression of who they are designed to be and the mark they are meant to leave on this world. #beautifulinsideacademy #teengirls

This type of awareness leads to personal freedom and accountability. Personal development in the teen years unhooks the teens from looking outside themselves and creating unnecessary drama. It takes their focus away from comparison, envy and jealousy and teaches them to how to navigate their inner world so that they can stay in alignment with themselves and who they say they want to be. Oh my goodness this song hit my heart today, ( could possibly be my theme song for the year) it was exactly what I needed to hear as I have been deep in thought lately. It also got me reflecting on my goals, dreams and how I feel fiery inside when I want to push my own boundaries and limitations. This year has challenged us all to tap into our deeper reserves. To reflect and see what we are made of or what we need to strengthen when tough times reveal themselves. A...s the song says life is waiting on us! It reminds us to run, fly and know what it means to be alive. To know that the messages of we are not enough is a lie. As a teen empowerment and leadership coach the work with my teens is to provide them with tools and mindset work to know who they are and who they are not. To empower them how to find their wings and take their place to in the world. To provide them with the tools and mindset work to free themselves from limiting beliefs and step into the personal freedom they need to walk in purpose and destiny. The work is to find those places within that allow you, me our teen girls to know that the spirit within is stronger than anything outside of them. Love this quote. It is a reminder of the times that I didn’t trust what I knew deep within and instead trusted others over what I knew to be true for me. Can anyone relate? This has been one of my personal things to journey through and overcome. It’s part of the reason I am so passionate about my work with teen girls. It’s so important and necessary for teen girls to learn the inner tools and mindsets to stay connected to their truth within. Self trust plays a role in a lo...t of outcomes. Tonight in one of my private coaching sessions it was so touching to see my teen client embrace her truths and walk away with the tools to help her stay connected within. She will be able to use this tool for a lifetime. She is becoming the person who trusts herself and knows her values. This month last year I was in New York City. I took this photo while I was there. It was truly a sight to see and this word was magical in lights. This photo came to mind as I was reflecting on 2020. I started out the year praying for 2020 vision for areas in my life that I needed to see more clearly. I also had chosen the word freedom as my word for the year. Little did I know how powerful of a word this would be for my life this year. As I reflect on the 2020 that... I experienced I can honestly say that it is a year I am so grateful for, I did get the 2020 vision I needed and the freedom I had desired. It has been a year of really coming home to myself. A year of truly knowing what I am available for and not available for. A year of truly knowing who my sacred circle is. A year of deepened friendships and a year of letting go of those people and things that did not align with me and my higher purpose. A year of clarity of what do I believe and want to believe! 2021 is right around the corner and I invite you to think about what you are going to believe for this coming year. Who will you become? As a teen empowerment and leadership coach I love the work of helping my teen girls connect within and understand the mindset work to believe for what is possible and to believe in themselves. I invite all of you to think about what you are going to believe for in 2021? And most importantly I invite you to believe In yourselves! Believe In your worth and value. Your self concept determines what you see in the world. This is the lens through which you experience life. You have the power to change your self concept and what you see and experience. You have the power to install new beliefs that give you access to possibility. Your reality is a reflection of your beliefs. What do you want to believe about you? I invite you to do the inner work this year and believe in yourself enough to invest this time into you. I truly believe that 2021 has amazing potential for all of us to rise and step into higher versions of ourselves. What is being deposited on the inside of our teen girls today determines who they become and how strong they grow up to be. Planting seeds of how to do the inner work of mindset and providing them with the tools and strategies on the inside gives them the advantage in life. If these seeds are planted in their teenage years it provides them with an inner foundation from which all external success is born from. In my work as a teen empowerment and leadership coach over... the past 14 years it has been so rewarding to hear back from the girls who I have worked with. They share with me how the seeds that were planted in their time of working with me were realized even deeper as they grew through life. Moms and dads now is the time to be depositing the mindset work required for our teen girls to get through hard things and to be able to accomplish all that they are capable of becoming. The only person that will hold them back in life is themselves! We can love them as parents and speak life into them, but if they don’t have the internal strategies to save themselves they will not live up to their full potential. My heart is so full! I had the privilege and honour to privately coach this precious young lady for the past 12 weeks in my private coaching program.
