Since we work in very top layers of your skin, it pushes some ink out easier. Oily skin and skin with enlarged pores tend to resist to the pigment more. I offer these clients two options: 1)We do microshading instead of microblading. It heals well on all skin types and still shows extremely natural results when done softly with a powdery finish. No sharp pencil looks, no crazy concealer definition from heavy makeup tutorials. It looks just like your own eyebrow but fuller and... better shaped. 2)If you really like the hair stroke look, we can give it a try with microblading, knowing that there is a chance it won't work. It still works in many cases, but not always. When you come back for a touch-up 4 weeks later, I will evaluate the color retention. If the lines stayed well, we will just add a couple more to complete the work. If the ink hasn't stayed, then we will do microshading as a back-up plan. Those clients may need an extra touch-up 4 weeks after this one. See more
