SKINCARE SUNDAY I’m having a lazy weekend, so I thought I’d put a little effort into my skin today. Last week I featured the Ole Henriksen PHAt Glow Facial mask, so I wanted to show you it in action. The PHAt Glow Facial uses PHAs (Poly Hydroxy Acids) to smooth and brighten skin. PHAs operate the same way as AHAs (think Glycolic Acid) but because they have larger molecules, they are less irritating and sensitizing to the skin.... To use this one, blend it into the skin to turn it from blush colour to white, and leave on for fifteen minutes. Whenever the year comes to a close, I like to take stock of what happened during it, and find the lessons. Like most people, I think this year more than ever has taught me to be grateful and positive despite circumstances. On one hand, I was only technically open and servicing clients for about four months in total this year. I missed the industry terribly, but I am so grateful because in those few months, you visited me and supported my business so ferociously. Between Augu...st and October I would work a nine hour day at my office job, and then another 1-3 hours afterwards seeing clients almost every single night - and it made me so happy to be able to do that! I felt your love and support immensely during those times. Now that I’m closed again, your sweet messages and referrals let me know that when I do re-open, everything will be just fine. So thank you to all my amazing clients, friends, and family for helping me keep my dream in a crazy pandemic world. It means more than you know. Happy New Year
