GET TO KNOW THE ARTISTS IN OUR INDUSTRY AT HOME AND WORLDWIDE Meet Karen Morrison owner of Fabulash by Karen! She is an incredible, award-winning lash artist, born in the Philippines and has lived in Canada since 2001! Her business is based Lloydminster, SK She is our Featured Artist this Friday in our continued series meant to recognize and support brilliant artists in our community. Karen is a women who has been supportive of... me since the early days of my lash career, having met over social media! This way of connecting has brought so many incredible people into my life and Karen is no exception. Our story is another prime example of how professional and personal bonds are born in the digital era and how possible it is to be supportive of one another near and far. Positive influences are vital when navigating through any industry. Karen has been a light and role model to me, especially when it comes to lash application and styling. When you see Karen’s work, you see the best. She does a perfect job every time. We share the fact that we’re working lash moms, and Karen has mastered the fine balance within her roles. It is something else she does SO well and something I and so many others find challenging. Her modelling of motherhood, entrepreneurship and professional development are truly amazing. Karen has competed in many lash competitions and has WON many lash competitions This takes major confidence and dedication. Lash Artists who compete operate on a whole other level, repeating sets over and over to the point of perfection. It is these artists who, rest assured, are in love with the craft. It takes serious heart and soul. Looking back on old conversations, Karen and I have been in each other lives since 2015! Happy brows on this happy Monday! I’m in my happy place, training our newest @lashtribe at Beautyco. Academy student.
