5 things your sew-in should be 1. A protective style - meant to help grow your hair and maintain healthy tresses 2. Not too tight - should not feel or appear tight 3. Great foundation - a great sew in starts with a great foundation braids should not be less than an inch apart 4. Flexible - your sew in should give you flexibility to do different styles... 5. Wearing hand made closures has become one of the latest trends in sew in extensions. This alternative to styling allows you to protect all your tresses leaving no hair out and with proper technique will allow you to wear your hair in high buns, ponytails and even French braids; your sew ins should really have no limits. When sewing down your closure keep a few things in mind: 1) make sure which of the two methods you will be using to install your closure (elastic straps or di...rect sew on) 2) make sure you measure on your head how much room your closure will need 3) stretch your closure as much as you can from one side to the next to ensure it is laying as flat as possible with no air pockets 4) stitch closure around its perimeter leaving about a little less than half an inch on both sides of your ideal part (this will allow the realistic hair line effect) 5) do a quick sweep over the base of closure with your fingers to ensure no bumps or air pockets can be felt or seen, if so loosen up where necessary, stretch and re-sew! Hope this helps Beauty Full Ladies stay tuned for more hair care news!
