The best advice I can give anyone when it comes to skin care is: consistency! You can buy all the top rated and highest reviewed skin care products out there but if you are not being consistent with your routine, your results will always fall short. Another path to inconsistent results with your skincare is using too many products at once. Your skincare routine does not have to have 9+ steps to be effective, in fact too many products can actually make your skin worse. Multiple acids, over use of certain retinoids and other unnecessary steps could strip your skin of its moisture barrier reversing the benefits of these products. We’ve all had cabin fever for the last 16 months and like most of you, travelling again is on my mind. I am always telling my clients and followers about the importance of colour harmony on the face! This means that the lipstick should harmonize with the blush and the blush should harmonize with the eyes. This makeup on @suzannerogerstoronto is a perfect example. I used a warm , peachy pink on the lips which complements the blush ( also a warm pink) and the blush complements the eyes. I almost always add a-little bit of the the blush colour to the outer crease of the eyes. Th...e colour tones don’t compete or clash with one another! Whenever I hear about a new product on the market that promises to be good for the skin while giving you a radiant GLOW , I suddenly get very interested! Not only because I myself create skincare but because I believe everyone looks great with glowing skin! I have recently tried some VERY popular products that promise to give the skin a glowing appearance. These are products that have gone viral over social media. Needles to say I was let down. ... The promised ‘glow’ barely lasted a couple hrs It made me wonder why products go viral if they don’t even do what they promise Yes ofcourse a product may work for some and not for others yet still I wondered why.
