We are here to help you! Despite the recent changes to Nova Scotia restrictions, the restrictions to health care remain unchanged. We are here to help you through injuries and pain while we uphold the highest standards of cleanliness. We have gone above and beyond all covid measures to ensure we can remain open to help you when you need us.... There are some very friendly faces behind all of these masks, and we've all managed to maintain our sense of humour. Come in and see us, we promise a clean good time Credit: Alex MacAulay

We would like to send out a big thank you to all of our patients for trusting us with your safety. You are a huge part of the Beaverbank Physiotherapy family and we are grateful to be able to continue to see you safely in our clinic. We are a medical facility with strict protocols in place to keep you and your loved ones safe during your time with us. Please see below to find out how we are working hard to keep you all safe. Here are a few of the key things we have been doin...g to ensure we remain a safe environment for the healthy and vulnerable patients we treat on a regular basis: - Individual private walled rooms for all patients - Strict sanitizing protocols throughout the clinic - Immediate sanitization of any equipment or furniture touched by patients (beds, chairs, dumbbells etc) and no shared equipment - We have removed all furniture and equipment that cannot be fully sanitized (no cloth covered chairs etc) - Patients, staff and therapists are masked for the entire treatment session - Symptom screening for all people entering the building including staff - Temperature checks for all staff and patients upon entering - Limited number of people in the building at one time - Reduced caseloads to accommodate for 6 foot physical distancing - All staff have reduced personal contact with the general public outside of the clinic (restricted grocery store visits, social events, etc) We will continue to uphold the strict standards and guidelines of our governing bodies, the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association so that we may continue to help you through pain and injuries during this tumultuous time. How can you help us remain safe? - Please come to your appointment alone whenever possible to minimize number of people in the building at once Please arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow ample space in the reception area - Please maintain 6ft distance between yourself and other staff and patients - Please remain masked at all times - Please sanitize your hands upon entering the building - If you have any symptoms of illness or are uncomfortable being treated in clinic, we are still offering Virtual Care via our Telehealth system. We would be happy to accommodate you online, in the comfort of your own home. Thank you for being our partners in health and wellness.

We know that many people in our community have had a change in their employment situation or have been forced to discontinue out-patient physiotherapy at the hospital due to restrictions in place because of Covid 19. We want to reach out to those of you that are working through an injury on your own. Or those that have had recent surgery and have been unable to attend sessions at the hospital to progress you through your rehabilitation. If you no longer have Physiotherapy in...surance coverage, but still need help to get through a recent injury or surgery, we are here to help. We are running a small pro bono (free physio) program for those in need alongside our regular Physiotherapy services. The service is provided via our Telehealth program. Limited spaces are available and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. The program will remain in place until we are able to open our physical space to the public again. We hope this affords those without access to public (hospital) physiotherapy an alternative to care while we all work through this time together. If possible, a referral from your physician is appreciated. Please tag someone you know that would benefit from this. Sackville Business Association CAMPT #Physiotherapy
