Well, i am so good at making mistakes...Thanks to Monique for noticing. We will close on Sat, Nov 28 at 3pm not 5 as i had previously said.

Good Afternoon, Stitching Friends. There is frost in the air which makes many of us feel like stitching. As many of you know, Shelley and I are retiring. We were not able to sell the shop so we will be closing our doors on Nov. 28 at 5pm. It is a bitter sweet time for us as we will certainly miss all the friends we have made.....you are all our "stitching family" and we will cherish the time we had with you forever. However, we are looking forward to new adventu...res. When COVID decides to leave, we will be looking forward to hosting our Camp Wildwood retreats again. Beginning Nov 3, we will begin our closing out sale. Everything will be 50% off EXCEPT floss, which will be on sale for $0.60 cents, and,our already marked down items will remain the same. The newest issue of the Rug Hooking magazine will not be on sale as they just came in. Please read the next covid protocol carefully as we must follow the guide lines put out by the government..... there are only allowed to be 4 shoppers in at a time, so we ask that if people are waiting, you will limit your time to 1 half hour. Please wear a mask and come in often. We look forward to seeing you. NOW GOOd NEWS: Two of our stitching friends are beginning an online store here in the Moncton area. There are many options to choose from in dealing with them....by appointment, pop up shops and home parties. Doesnt this sound exciting? Since Christmas is coming, they will be selling gift certificates , which is always a favourite . Well friends, It has been a true joy to serve you over the years. Because You Count opened the doors of their shop in 1991, moving to the big city of Moncton in 1997. From then on things grew quickly as classes, stitch-ins and retreats developed. We have had so much fun over the years making great friendships with the wonderful people of the East Coast and across Canada. We have tried to give the best service possible to all of you. It is with sadness that we are announcing that we are retiring in December 2020. We will be ordering supplies for the store over the summer to ensure we are filling the orders we receive by the end of June. Our last book order will go in September and we will be carrying our magazines until the end of the year. We will continue to hold our stitching retreats if Covid -19 allows. We will keep you posted on further updates regarding sales.

WE ARE OPENING....YEAH Dear Friends, please take the time to read through this somewhat long post so we can update you on what is happening here at the shop. We have missed you all sooooooo much and look forward to connecting again. Because of COVID 19, our world has changed and we must adjust to a new normal.... These are the procedures we are putting in place for now....not forever. We care about you and want to make this a safe place for everyone. So here is the list.... ----Please sanitize your hands when you come in and when you leave. ----- We would highly recommend that you wear a mask for your safely and ours...the staff will be wearing them. ------Please maintain 6 feet of social distancing. -------If you will be browsing through book or fibers, please put on the gloves that we provide because we cannot clean these. ------Our debit and credit machine will be cleaned after every use. ------We will clean our flat surfaces and door knobs regularly.---------We would love to have you back sitting around our table stitching and chatting BUT WE CAN NOT DO THAT YET. We are hoping soon to be able to do that when it is safe. ------All stitching clubs ,classes and stitch ins are cancelled at this time. ------Only 2 people allowed in at a time. ------Please remember that curbside pickup and mail order is available. --------Our bathroom will only be for staff at this time. OUR BIGGEST CHANGE AT THIS TIME IS OUR HOURS. Since just Shelley and I will be working for the first 2 weeks, we are cutting our hours. Monday: CLOSED Tuesday to Friday ...10 to 5 Sat.....10 to 3. We wanted to accommodate our out of town and working stitchers, so that the reason for the change. This is just a trial .we will evaluate at the end of the 2 weeks. This would have been the day we headed to Camp Wildwood for our spring retreat. We are all a little sad about not being together so... ..What if we spend our Saturday in our comfy clothes, set up our camp stitching area and sit and stitch for the day.
