A Fun Monday Share To change it up a bit, I thought I’d share a little bit about US, the peeps behind Becken today! Did you know:... -My first language is French. Bonjour tout le monde! :D -I’m from Lourdes-de-Blanc-Sablon, while Ken is from Halifax. -We in Quebec, eat our onion rings with honey. Try it! It will blow your mind. -Ken & I met and fell in love in Goose Bay during what was supposed to be a 3 week, and 6 month stay, respectively. We’ve been here ever since, going on 13 years. -We have two girls, Ellie & Emilia, who are our #1 favourite people on the planet. -I love to cook! Our whole family eats primarily Gluten & Dairy-free, and I’m slowly but surely writing a cookbook! -In a past life, I worked as the Director of Renewable Resources for the Nunatsiavut Government. Still love everything to do with nature! -Ken is an engineer, and works full-time as a Project Manager for Defence Construction Canada. -I’m also a Certified Holistic Health & Nutrition Coach (our company is Naturally Inclined). - We started Becken as a side gig for fun. Never in our wildest dreams did we think we'd be doing Professional Photography. -Becken is a mash up of Becca & Ken! Not a lot people catch on to that! And because I never post pics of us, I though it might be fun to share photos from our last professional photo sessions. Some from our family shoot, and some from my Holistic Health Coaching biz page. This is a total throwback and shows how well overdue we are for new photos!lol Kathy Duguay maybe this summer? How does the saying go? The carpenter's house is always the last to be repaired, or something of the sort!

THANK YOU! It's been a crazy Christmas season here at Becken photography! It was great to see so many familiar faces back again this year & lots of new ones too! And, with your help, that of Nunacor, Royal Inn + Suites, Air Borealis and more, we were able to help make Christmas a little more magical for 59 kids this year ! This would not have been possible without your toy donations, and the help of special volunteers! <3... For that, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! So now, the photos and toys have been delivered, and these tired little elves are ready for a little relaxation and family fun! :D Bring on Christmas, homemade Bailey's and watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation on replay with the famjam.
