May 2021 We are also pleased to announce that Dr. Bedi has been awarded a 2021 SSHRC Explore Grant for $6460 to explore the feasibility of developing a new research project related to the Contextual Model of Counselling. The grant is titled, Can Counselling Be Considered a EuroWestern Traditional Healing Practice? I am adding a third motto to the lab. It's an old favourite of mine, actually told to me by my undergrad stats professor and honours supervisor: "Confusion is a precursory to discovery." The original two mottos are:... Research not Rhetoric, Proof not Politics, Evidence not Emotion, Doubt not Dogma. "Without critical thinking, this is not education but indoctrination. I do not want to teach you what to think but how to think...for yourself."
