Another fantastic audience today learning The Art of Building Deeper and More Meaningful Connections.

This young lady, Greta Thunberg, proves something to all of us. It's not only that you don't have to be old to be wise. It's not only that you don't have to have been a speaker for years to find yourself on TEDx stage.... But it's also this: If you have a fire burning in your heart - about something, about anything - and if you are willing to speak up for it in the face of a world that wants to put your fire out; People. Will. Listen. And those people will hear what your heart has to say.

Whatever path you choose, you will come up against challenges and struggle (suffering). Do not, therefore add to that by unnecessarily creating your own struggles. Permit yourself to enjoy what you do, to choose freely how you spend your own time, and define your own spot on the wall to aim for.... If it feels good, do the activity. If it tastes good, eat the food. If it feels right, pursue your path in the face of a world which will try to persuade you otherwise.

No matter your age, your size, or your capability - you are a hero to someone. Every action we take in life that benefits another person will bring them joy. You may not know the person, you may never meet them and if you do you may not see the joy on the outside... but it will be there on the inside.... Be you. Because you're a hero.

Never underestimate the power of your smile.

Our tribe give us a sense of belonging, make us feel safe and secure. They encourage us and motivate us, and support us to become the person that we truly want to be.

On Tuesday we hosted a talk on "Learning the Art of Storytelling for Everyday Life". With David Fisher at the helm, steering us through the wonders of finding our personal stories and telling them in a captivating way for our audiences, we were joined by 40 amazing attendees - each of whom not only learned how to share a little bit more about their story, but also met like-minded people who wanted to share theirs and explore their hero's journey. It was also a special eveni...ng as we were joined by Larissa and Alyssa from our charity partner Kids Up Front Foundation Vancouver. We are so pleased and grateful that you could join us and meet some of our awesome attendees. Our partnership with you is something that we hold very dear to our hearts, and I'm so proud to say that from this evening alone we have been able to sponsor 8 kids from disadvantaged backgrounds to attend theatrical, art and sporting events - to give them a little inspiration too! Pure magic! Thank you to our partner venue 7 Gate Ventures as always for having us in your beautiful space, and to Israrul Haque for joining us to capture the event on film.
