A lot of you have asked about Nutrition and Diet and what you can eat and drink to lower your stress, increase your energy levels, and improve your focus and your productivity. We are so excited to have Fatima @the.executive.dietitian, a a registered dietitian (RD) and certified diabetes educator (CDE) answer some of these questions. During her many years of experience, she’s helped C-suite executives, global innovators, community leaders, directors, and managers perform... their best by eliminating health barriers that slow them down. Brain fog, sluggishness, food comas, belly fat, you name it. Maybe you’re so used to it, you think it’s normal. But it’s not. Fatima knows firsthand that a lot of us struggle to excel at every aspect of our life and it can be stressful. Fatima, herself, is a very busy person trying to juggle life with her new baby, her work, and her health. She wants to provide her best to every aspect of her life. But it’s hard. Even as a dietitian, she finds herself struggling to keep her health a priority. But, it didn’t take long for her to realize that if she is not healthy, then she can’t take care of her family and her business. Join our Instagram Live on Wednesday, Dec 9 at 12pm PST Learn how to optimize your nutrition in order to lower stress, increase your energy levels and improve your focus and productivity and feel good. No meditation- all nutrition.

As the days are getting shorter and colder, and we enter another lockdown with the rise of Covid cases, it’s ok to have days where you feel unmotivated to work or unpleasant feelings like anger, frustration, anxiousness, and overwhelmingness. Don’t judge yourself for not being ok. We are in a global pandemic, nothing is normal about this. Navigating our new normal while ensuring those around us are safe is stressful. A lot of us had to embrace a lot of changes in the last couple of months and going into another lockdown is the last thing we wanted. So be patient and be kind to yourself and those around you. Take time to breathe. Join us tomorrow, Thurs Nov 24th at 6pm PST for a guided meditation. Register here: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/127978514181.

This is a reminder... it’s ok to not be ok. It’s ok to have a difficult day. It’s ok if you want to take a day to not do anything. In our society, people are often seen as lazy if they sleep too much, or watch too much tv, or don’t work hard. What our society doesn’t teach us is it’s ok to take time to heal and process our feelings, it’s ok to take time for self care to fill our cup because we are running on empty. It’s ok to not be ok. So don’t feel guilty the next time you ...want to take time to rest. Don’t feel guilty if you want to sleep. Give your body what it is asking for. Nothing is permanent, by allowing yourself to not be ok and rest, you will eventually feel better. Join our weekly meditation circles, a safe place to feel your your feelings and heal together.
