Plan on giving plants as a gift this holiday season? Remember the 3 things that all plants need: Light, Water & Warmth! Plants don’t like to stay in their wrapping any longer than 24 hours, so if you’re purchasing plants now and giving them as a gift later, make sure the plants are taken out of their wrapping and kept somewhere they’ll receive proper light, water and warmth until you are ready to wrap them back up!

For a great balance of holiday cheer and tropical foliage, Norfolk Island Pines are always a hit. Makes a great indoor Christmas tree! Thrives in medium to bright indirect light and should be allowed to dry slightly between waterings. Available now in 4", 6" and 10" pots.

Christmas plants have arrived and are available now! Find Cyclamen, potted Amaryllis, Frosty Ferns and Christmas Cactus as well as beautiful Christmas planters in the tropical house. Just in time to add that touch of holiday cheer to your home! We will not be carrying poinsettias, fresh cut greens, or fresh wreaths, garlands and outdoor arrangements for 2020. As the days continue to get shorter, you'll often notice leafy houseplants like bougainvillea, hibiscus, ficus and others losing some of their leaves. This is normal and expected as they adjust to lower light for the winter months. Don't worry! Give them as much light as possible, a bit of a trim to help them adjust, and make sure you water only when required!

Inspired by the history of botanical illustration, the flowers of A Hanging Garden (Guelph, ON) share a common root. Like the individually painted pages of antique illustrated books, each series of paintings shares a common base drawing. This print is then transferred to a prepared wood panel and individually hand painted in oil. Best described as a limited edition painting in series, each piece is unique and numbered in small editions that celebrate the range and variety of many favourite plants.
