They are offering a one-time arrears support to eligible OW and ODSP households who, as a result of COVID-19 have not been able to pay rent or utility expenses. This benefit is available until March 31, 2021 call Access York today at 1-877-464-9675 or TTY: 1-866-512-6228 (Open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and ask for the COVID-19 Arrears Benefit. A huge thank you to @_kalea__ for providing Tim Hortons for all of our residents & staff. Kalea wanted to give back to her community so she decided to collect monetary donations & use them to purchase Tim Hortons for individuals experiencing homelessness. Our residents were so happy!

Did you know? Our organization- The Salvation Army York Housing & Support Services operates 4 shelters - Belinda’s Place, Sutton Youth Services and two temporary co-ed shelters in Durham and King in response to covid-19. We are accepting donations for men, women and children (limited supply needed). Thank you for your continued support!

Our Christmas basket program relies solely on donation and we are so thankful for the outpouring of support from our community.
