So proud of my beautiful mom. She has worked hard her entire life. Helped build 7 different food establishments since her & Dad moved home to Baddeck. She is honest , tallented and fair. Self taught and the best cook and baker you will ever find. People over the years have offered to pay for her recipes and give them free trips to come teach them how to make her famous seafood chowder and oatmeal bread. She never did take them up on it. She is also so modest she wouldn't think to brag about her accomplishments so we will. Frank's Pizza, The Red Rooster, MacPhail's snack bar, Fraser's campgrounds takeout,The chowder house, The Chowder Bar and The Bell Buoy for 40 years. And she was there by my side to help and teach me when I opened my place. Love you so much Mom you are amazing! Xox

Due to Covid 19 we are uncertain if or when we will open for the season. We are carefully considering Covid restriction/ precautions criteria and weighing the risks of opening our seasonal business which relies mainly on tourism. Today will be our last day for the season. We are offering $25 full course meal. Including appetizer, main course and dessert. We have lots of Our delicious Bluenose Chowder and Lobsters available. Hope you will come in and enjoy a great meal. Open at 12pm.
