To our loyal customer's: Starting Dec 27th. In response to Premier Ford's announcement regarding a Ontario wide lockdown, these are the steps Belle River Home Hardware will be taking in order to keep servicing the community in the safest way possible.... 1. We will be open for walk up customer's. You will need to wait in line outside the front door and just please be patient. We will Be encouraging people to use cards for transactions in an effort for our employees to not have to handle money. Debit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express are all accepted. NO RETURNS UNTIL LOCKDOWN IS LIFTED. 2. We will be accepting phone orders. Please call 519-728-2760, we only have the ability of (2) phone lines at once so please be patient. All phone in orders must be paid for over the phone using one of the above methods and all pick-ups will take place at the West side (water side) parking lot. Customer's can ring the doorbell located at our garage door for pick-ups. NO RETURNS UNTIL LOCKDOWN IS LIFTED. 3. Customer's can shop online @ homehardware.ca, there is however a $50.00 minimum order. Please understand ANY orders placed this way are NOT for same day pick-up as they are fulfilled from our Ontario warehouse. They will come in on our next delivery. Again pick-ups are at the garage door in the West side parking lot, ring the door bell for service. NO RETURNS UNTIL LOCKDOWN IS LIFTED. 4. Customer's can place a order directly with the store via [email protected]. Please quote product numbers from our website when sending in your order as it will make it easier to know exactly the product you are looking for. Please include your name, address, phone number and method of payment including expiry date and CVC code on back of card. ONLY credit cards can be used for this method. Orders must be paid for in advance. Debit not accepted, should you want to pay debit you will need to stand in line at the front door. NO RETURNS UNTIL LOCKDOWN IS LIFTED. ONLINE, AND PHONE ORDERS ARE PICKED UP AT THE WEST SIDE GARAGE DOOR, PLEASE RING THE BELL FOR SERVICE. ANY PURCHASES THAT ARE NOT ONLINE OR PHONE IN WILL NOT BE DONE AT THIS DOOR. We still require masks to be worn while at our front door or while picking up orders. The safety of our staff is paramount and our #1 concern. When will the Town of Lakeshore finally step up and help their fellow citizens and businesses. We have dealt with major flooding for over a year. We would like answers other than " It's a act of god, we can't help you". We have been left with no choice but to post on social media what we have been dealing with, the Town doesn't even return phone calls when we have called them on this issue. They tried to fix the problem with 30K garden boxes out front of the store, anyone cou...ld tell you those aren't going to solve the issue. We asked for them to close the road when the water gets past the curb and they do nothing, instead they let cars fly by out front and flood the store. The have repeatedly kicked the can down the road on this issue, what would happen if this was happening out front of the Town Hall? It would get their attention that's for sure. We have contacted local officials, most of them shop here yet nothing gets done. We pay taxes but we get nothing in return. Unprecedented lake levels, no kidding you don't say......We know how high the Lake is so why did you design the road to drain into the lake mere feet from the building? Imagine the town draining your road you live on beside your house. We apologize to our local patrons as we closed early today for the first time we can remember because we were all trying to control the water. Thank you to the staff for always helping clean up the mess. Imagine a problem that can't be solved..........that is what the Town is saying. This issue cant be solved, deal with it.
