Congratulations to our VP of Human Resources for becoming a certified 200 hour yoga instructor! After having battled breast cancer in 2018, Meghan deeply understands the importance of movement and breath. We are proud to have her on our team and working toward some exciting initiatives for the New Year! Stay tuned...
This year there was even more reason to get together for a staff holiday party. Check out what we did last night!
Happy 4th anniversary Michele. You have been so instrumental in making our location a success!
Our elf has made it back to the clinic this year from the North Pole! He has completed his 14 day quarantine and is ready to move around the clinic
Bad knees? Bad back? Pregnant? Hate the idea of getting down on the floor? I can modify poses to a chair. Yoga is accessible for every body. You get the same benefits without injuring yourself. Register for free virtual classes with Meghan at: https://classfit.com/index.php/c/Profile/33521?v=519
My wellness tip is to get up and move as often as you can. In school we were taught that fidgeting isn't good, but really any movement is fine when looking into posture and pressure relief! Particularly in this day and age where we seem to be confined to our desks in a static posture - set those timers for every 20-30 minutes (or more frequently if able!) and find ways to get out of your chair and overall the same posture you've had for the past while. -Amanda Clément
Wellness tip from Eric Curtis, PT: Set boundaries for screen time. Set an alarm to limit amount of time spent on social media. Keep devices out of reach at bedtime.

Wellness Wednesday Tip from Natasha Eddie, PT: Spend time outdoors. It is always nice to get fresh air, especially if you pair it with exercise like running or walking.
Today we remember all of the men and women who have fought, continue to fight, and have given their lives for our freedom. Lest we forget

Throwback to 7 years ago when we began to construct the Orléans location. It is really strange to see it like this! We are really proud of the business that we built from a cement shell and now a clinic in beautiful Beechwood!!! Thanks to the community for your continued support
Wellness Wednesday Tip from Ruth Posthuma, PT - thanks Ruth! You can't pour from an empty cup - take care of yourself first. It's the same idea as putting on your oxygen mask before helping someone else with theirs. You can't help anyone else if you've passed out, or burnt-out depending on which metaphor you're using. It's not selfish to take care of you - treat yourself the way you would treat a loved one
Is your home office giving you aches and pains? We have some tips that could help you!
