Another successful fundraiser under our belts - the annual pumpkin and squash fundraiser brought over 50 families to Belleisle Farms today HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who participated along with their supporters - it was the perfect fall day

Roy Pope & Sons is currently looking for seasonal employees to join our team to harvest, sort and package cabbage, broccoli & squash. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, meet tight deadlines, perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding conditions, pay attention to detail and have good personal hygiene. Must have own transportation and be able to work Monday to Friday in all weather conditions. Please send resume to [email protected] if interested.

We now have Buttercup, Acorn & Spaghetti Squash available. The price is $0.60 / lb to purchase at our Belleisle Creek Farm which is open Monday to Friday 8AM to 4:30PM. We also have Cabbage and Peaches & Cream Corn available. Cabbage price is $2.00 per head and Corn is $7 a dozen or $30 a bag for 60 ears.

Ever wonder how sweetcorn is harvested? This is a commercial harvester designed to harvest corn better than hand picking as it pulls the ear off the plant. Once harvested it is then brought to the packing house where it is Hydro cooled.. this brings the temperature of the corn down from the average 25 degrees to 3 or 4 degrees Celsius to ensure the sugars do not turn to starch thus getting better quality and shelf life. Peaches & Cream Corn is now available to purchase at Belleisle Farms. Call and order yours today at 485-8820. Available Monday to Friday 8AM to 4:30PM Pricing is $30 a bag for 5 dozen or if you only want a dozen it's $7 or a half dozen is $4.

Pope's Strawberry U-pick will be closing today Wednesday July 22nd at 3PM. Our field will remain closed until Monday July 27th. We will re-open at 8AM on Monday until the field has been picked out. Monday will be our last day for the Strawberry U-Pick. We also have Cabbage & Broccoli available to purchase at the farm office if you are interested during the weekdays. The price is $2 per broccoli bunch or head of cabbage.

We still have Strawberries available to buy already picked today & Friday if you don't want to pick yourself. The price of the berries is $4 a box and you would need to call 485-8820 in advance to have them set aside for you. Or our U-pick is open today and tomorrow from 8AM to 4PM if you want to pick them yourself.

Pope's U-Pick Strawberry field opened this morning at 8AM. Come on out and get your berries while the picking is good. The price is $2.50 a box and if you don't have your own boxes we can supply them for $0.25 each. Please bring cash as we don't have a debit machine. If you should want already picked berries call 485-8820 to reserve yours today. The price is $4 a box and we have them available at the office from Monday to Friday.

Pope's Strawberry fields will be opening on Friday July 10th at 8AM for 2 hours and then be closing at 10AM. We will NOT be opened on the weekend, but will be re-opening on Monday July 13th at 8AM. The price of the berries is $2.50 a box to pick your own. If you don't have your own boxes we can supply them at $0.25 each. We do not have a debit machine in the field so it's cash only.

Looking for Strawberry Pickers for the upcoming season starting late June. Must be 13 years of age or older to pick and must have own transportation. Rate is $0.75/box plus season end bonus.
