The Home for the Holidays map is now available! https://discoverbelleville.ca/home-for-the-holidays-decora/ Walking or driving around with a hot chocolate and ...looking at holiday lights evokes a nostalgic feeling, no matter how old you are. We put a call out to our community to register for the Home for the Holidays Decorating Contest and have created a map so you can tour around and see the decorated homes! Congratulations to Emily White, Deb Waite and Brendan Cook who were randomly selected from our draw of Curbside Culture: A Take-Out Food Adventure passports! The trivia answers were (in order of the passport pages): St. Kitts, Expo 67, True, Figs, Shampoo, Peppers, Florenceville-Bristol New Brunswick, Mexico City, Bangkok, Mount Everest and Ottawa. We made three prize packs of gift cards that were generously donated by our participating vendors. The winners can pick up their ...prize at the Belleville Chamber of Commerce. Thank you to everyone who participated!

The Belleville Chamber of Commerce regrets to announce they have been advised by Health Unit Personnel the Market In The Park for this Sunday, September 13 must... be cancelled. There is concern the intended open-air market at West Zwick’s may encourage a gathering larger than allowed under the current legislation. Over the summer, the Chamber has transformed events to comply with safety regulations and this event was modified from the typical Flavours of Fall usually held at the Armouries in late September. We are very sorry for getting your hopes up. We believed Market in the Park would comply with safety measures and not put anyone in our community at risk. The combination of the downtown Side Hustle Market and Pop-ups on the Bay with some wandering minstrel style entertainment as our addition seemed the perfect solution for a wonderful family outing. For now, we encourage everyone to stay safe and stay healthy. We look forward to an opportunity to try this again. The Kiwanis, Kites and Kids event will continue as planned at East Zwick’s and the Pop-ups on the Bay will remain open with their own schedules.
