Our most recent additions to the family are Aime and Raymonde! I often met them when we held events and for Mass at our home; they were always fun to chat with. They already knew many of the residents which hopefully made them feel like part of the family as soon as they arrived. Please join us in wishing Aime and Raymonde a very Merry Christmas!

Yvette is also a fairly new member of the family, whom I have not had an opportunity to get to know well yet. I first met her when she came to view our home and I liked her right away: she knew what she wanted and let her daughter know she was going to move in as soon as she could. Yvette is an avid reader that shares my interest in mystery novels. Please join us in wishing Yvette a very Merry Christmas!

Sunday’s Special Visitors at the Bellevue Care Home Was a fun day and for the most part everyone behaved! Abby and Penny enjoyed the walk and treats. Gingy... thought it was weird to be in town but enjoyed her carrots. Beat me home though lol. At least she knows her way. Lol Thanks to Val Gaudet and Tara Gaudet for coming and helping spread some Christmas cheer!!

Jacqueline is one of our newer family members and I have really enjoyed getting to know her a bit. She has such a wonderful outlook on life and she shares my love of puzzles. Please join us in wishing Jacqueline a very Merry Christmas!

Real has been part of the family almost a year now (I think, time flies so it may have been longer) and just this month his lovely wife Lucie has joined him. Real is a fellow dog lover so when I bring my little dog for a visit he always has a big smile and asks how he is doing. We are so happy to have Lucie join the family and to be with her Real. Join us in wishing them both a very Merry Christmas!

Do you ever feel like all you see and hear is bad news? Things that make you feel sad? Yeah, we know how you feel. These are tough times. If anyone can spe...ak freely of tough times, it's people in the long term care setting. But when things get tough, you have choices. We choose to pull up our boot straps. To dig down deep and find ways to keep moving forward. To push through the difficult days. To sing, to laugh, and to dance. We thought the scarecrow was perfect timing for fall. Thanks to one of our super energetic nurses for lots of fun this Fri-YAY! **one of our residents made signs to give a shout out to her pen pals
