So lucky in the early 90’s to have been part of the spring distraction for the shut down crew,; Dan Mac took our call from the highway junction, and said if the guys wanted us and we had our own grub he would tell them to use the cat to get us. Glenn and Steve, Canadian powder eight synchro champs, aka Island Lake crew had just said goodbye to Warren Miller and his film crew, and they were not too happy cleaning up the machines and saying goodbye to the season. They happily cut duties short, and took us in our leather boots and skinny Tuas to hurtle down every steepish peak they skied the week before, with the film crew
