Not our usual Christmas party with all our families, but we made the best of what we have, and had a beautiful time with our Foyer family we spent time together opening presents, eating of course!, and played some games thank you to the staff, volunteers and residents for all the love and fun we share at our Care Home Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Bellevue Care Home

As mentioned in this beautiful Thank You card we have so many people to thank: Volunteers are so important to our mission and unfortunately we have not been able to welcome them into the home lately but they still work hard to bring joy and happiness to our family by sending care packages, cards, phone calls and visits through the windows. Thank you so much!! We will thank the people and organizations that have donated in a separate post.

Christmas Day was supposed to be the draw, but as i was not in that day, we are drawing the December winners this Thursday, December 31st at 10am. Check back to see who the winner's will be!

Another one of our wonderful family members. Dollard is a very active, generous fellow that helps out whenever and wherever he can. From shoveling show to assisting with outside projects he is there to help. Please join us in wishing Dollard a very Merry Christmas!

An amazing reminder of the beauty of life. We have so much to be grateful for at our home. The generosity and kindness of the community, our manager, staff, board members and friends of our page has touched our hearts. Most of all we are grateful for the wonderful people that call our home their home.

Please join us in wishing Ruth a very Merry Christmas! She is our resident crafter and is always knitting, crocheting, beadwork, jewelry making etc. and in her spare time she reads, makes puzzles or joins in on cards and crafts. I always enjoy checking out her current projects.

We had such a nice surprise this morning! Lorrinda from COUNTRY WOOD SIGNS came out to deliver a beautiful throw blanket to each of our residents they were all so happy and thankful to receive these super cozy gifts thank you so much Lorrinda!

Do you ever feel like all you see and hear is bad news? Things that make you feel sad? Yeah, we know how you feel. These are tough times. If anyone can spe...ak freely of tough times, it's people in the long term care setting. But when things get tough, you have choices. We choose to pull up our boot straps. To dig down deep and find ways to keep moving forward. To push through the difficult days. To sing, to laugh, and to dance. We thought the scarecrow was perfect timing for fall. Thanks to one of our super energetic nurses for lots of fun this Fri-YAY! **one of our residents made signs to give a shout out to her pen pals

All the mail coming in has been such a wonderful surprise we've begun handing out all the beautiful cards and gifts pictures to come! Thank you so much to everyone who has sent our wonderful residents some Christmas cheer

Remembrance Day has a very special meaning for at least 2 of our ladies living at our home. Both Lydia and Esther's husbands served and luckily returned home to their family. Not without scars both physical and emotional but so grateful they were able to come home.
