The potential impli...cations for the international dissemination of babywearing as the standard government-backed parenting practice are vast, so a huge responsibility rests on these three competent and dedicated women. Please meet here the leaders of the Chilean Babywearing School, "Coordinadora Nacional de Porteo. Alí Juárez Viviana Salazar Belmar & María Inés Arce Valdés - mothers and professionals with different backgrounds who work as babywearing advocates and educators to contribute to the promotion of babywearing, informing and encouraging families to do it safely and consciously, through collaborative work, between companies, institutions, babywearing educators and families. BabyWearing Chile has provided vital inputs to the design of this carrier and has been conducting training for families and professionals in the areas of health, education and social sciences in safe babywearing practices. They are planning to organize their first international babywearing symposium in October 2019.
