My next book which is probably going to be called, ‘The Miner’ is almost done. It’s been my friend all through the pandemic. Almost sorry to see it finished.
#OnThisDay 1957: Wakes Week - the annual holiday in Lancashire cotton towns - in Blackburn. A film by future oscar-winning director, John Schlesinger. Stunning.
Part of the story behind this song can be found in my book, ‘Below the Surface’
