My latest project an Alder Island. Shop supplied and the owner did the finishing. Beautiful job Sherry Eichhorst. The wood is Alder my Dad milled years ago for me. Well done team.

And the latest table is done. The process is so rewarding from the planning to the finishing. It really is like creating art. I love your Table, James McDonnell. Please share so others can see the beauty of Cotton wood.

The Airport Kiosk is pretty much done. Just waiting for the fridge to make the gate. The pictures are not so good, but it looks great in there. The personal at the airport where great to work with. Here is a picture of her original Island which got new doors, drawer fronts, end panels and kick. Shows off the color the best I am thinking.

Princess Lake Kitchen. Beautiful scenery, wonderful people. So enjoyed this project. I love the color they choose it is a deep chocolate brown with grey undertons. Thankyou Louise Ormerod for the oppertunity to build your Kitchen.

So I am off to Hadii for 8 glorious days, Well be back in The Shop on the 10th of Sept.

Brain and Nicloe Harbauer's fronts door. Built from cedar Randy cut 20 years or so from downed cedar on the propery. They turned out amazing, Used original Cetol to finish (I did add some tint to the finish as the original was just too orange for my taste) Top coated with an exterior grade oil finish. I loved how it tuned out. This is how Nicole responded, brought teas to my eyes (So sappy I am )"This is the most amazing door!! It was way beyond my expectations!! And Michelle was so amazing to work with!! When I pull up to the house my heart gives a little leap of joy when I see this door!!! Thank you Michelle for bringing out the beauty of our home"

Butter's new shelves and storage cabinet. The birch planks have a bleached stain and are finished in a clear water based varathane. I love the look of the bleached birch with the snow white cabinet and the lack of a base ( owners idea) . Shows off their product lines beautifully. Congrates on the reno. Such a wonderful group of people, pleasure doing buisness with them.

Wow I am finally over that chest/ headcold. It was a nasty one. I spent a whole day in the shop (:

I saw this in a house on the Bench in Terrace. Was well over 30 years old and still functioning like new. I have wanted to build one ever since. A very good use of space.

Here is my Dad and Donna's (well really Donna's) kitchen. Turned out great. Really brightened and updated the space.Lot of thinking, on Donna's part, went into this kitchen to create a user friendly inviting space. Every inch was used to accomodate all her kitchen supplies. There is even a drawer for the vacume, gotta love that. Between the two of us it turned out great. Always a pleasure to work with someone that knows what she wants.

So if you have a need for storage, a wide long narrow room and 12 foot ceilings . Do as Nadia did and get some custom made full height cupboards. Lots of storage in a fairly small space. The doors are Alder veneer with a water base finish. Brings out the beautiful warm colors of the alder with out yellowing.

Kitchen for Debbie K - She has oak Shacker doors. The doors and drwer faces have a slight bevel on the inside of the frame, makes for easier cleaning and the The whilte laquered finish bring out the subtle graining of real wood, beautiful finish. Debbie did a great job picking out the colors, layout, height of the drop down counter, door styles , and the finish of the different products. It all worked togeather to create this efficient inviting workspace.... So happy with the end result of this peoject.
