Air handling systems are a newer type of heating system. Similar to a modern furnace, it is a forced air system, but the transfer of heat from the energy source to the house air is different. Air handlers force house air from a could air return over a radiator, which warms the air and sends it through duct work to the living spaces.

Condominium apartments have independent heating and air condition system that are setup for each individual unit. This is a combination system that has a natural gas furnace and a 220 VAC air conditioner, combined in a single cabinet. This unit was manufactured in 2016.
