Sound check with my newly-installed VINEHAM CUSTOM HANDWOUND PICKUPS T-Bender and a Weather Man MkII! The T-Bender is designed to be a tele-voiced pickup in a strat-style housing, and it really delivers! It has a lot more snarl, twang, and mid-range than a conventional strat pickup. I think I’ll leave it in this guitar! What do you think? Does it sound like a tele to you? Let me know
It’s was an honour to be featured in this Telegram article about local pedal builders alongside Nathan Wells of Neon effects ! I’m incredibly proud to be able to contribute to the amazing arts community of NL in my own little way. I’ve made it my mission to do as much of the pedal-making process as I can right here in NL in partnership with other amazing small businesses. More to come from me in the next couple months! Stay safe everyone https://www.thetelegram.com//totally-wired-newfoundland-/
A first foray into surface mount soldering. I think it came out pretty good! These black PCBs looks sharp as heck too I’m making a few tweaks to my lighthouse circuit to enhance the tonality and functionality, so I used that as an opportunity to try out a few things. I’ll be sure to follow up with a quick sound test when I get this board built up!!
It was a grey, foggy day here in St John’s, NL, so i’m sure the lighthouse at Cape Spear was on to help all the ships find their way. No matter the weather, the Lighthouse tremolo serves up beautiful, deep modulation, adding flavour and depth to your tone
A custom build I wired up recently! A dual drive pedal with a Weather Man mkI and a Sunday Drive. It felt really good to wire up a pedal - it had been a while. There’s something so meditative about laying down near cable runs, twisting up power cables, and doing it old school. I’m SUPER happy with how this pedal turned out, especially the @hammondmfg enclosure. Absolute top notch quality! Definitely going to be using more in the future @ St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador
