Poem 29 of 30 // stardust Prompt 29/30 Search for the painting, The Love Embrace of the Universe (1949) by Frida Kahlo and write a poem inspired by the image. ``The Love Embrace of the Universe’ by shows Freda Kahlo with Diego Rivera as they’re embraced by Mexico, the Earth and the Universe. The painter is often described as a surrealist but is quoted as saying, They thought I was a Surrealist, but I wasn’t. I never painted dreams. I painted my own reality. Describe your own embrace if the universe, what does that look like in your vision of reality.
Poem 28 of 30 // namaste. 28/30 - Write a poem backwards. Sit down and free write a poem on any subject. Once it’s finished, reverse the order of the lines of the poem. Remove any lines that don’t work in the reversed order, and tinker as needed. Choose the poem you like best.
