As business' begin to open their showrooms, we feel the need to communicate our plan of action around opening our own. As a small business, we felt it difficult to control the environment our clients and our staff worked in, which is why we thought it would be responsible to close the showroom, operating online and by phone. This provided it's own challenges, but we were able to come out winning with an incredible show of support from new and existing cust...omer's. For that we are extra grateful. We were also able to get services to those who needed it most, at times where there was absolutely no other option, and for that we are proud. Moving forward, we are carefully planning the opening of our showroom. With reference to worksafe and government guidelines, our goal is to create a space where our clients can feel safe, but also engaged. This looks easy on paper, and believe me I've heard more of my fair share of "You should be open, the grocery stores are!" over the last 8 weeks. However, up until March we were building a showroom which I thought might have been the most intimate in the city. Working appliances, live chefs, and after it's all said and done, a firm handshake. The future of brick and mortar was meant to be more than just a retail store that hosted a transaction, and we were excited to be a part of that movement. So with that said, we are taking the next couple of weeks to prepare our space for you. We will start by appointment and hopefully along with the good news coming from our favourite doctor, we will start allowing visitors, and so our little appliance store moves another year towards 60. One of the things i'm most proud of and something that sets us apart from other appliance retailers, is the fact that we are involved in every step of the purchasing process, from the initial research phase, to the delivery and installation. Being that my brother and I co-own the business guarantees that you will likely meet at least one of us at the beginning and end of your journey. Having my brother manage the deliveries and installation is a big reason why clients have de...pended on our store for many years. This project was filmed by my friends at @poolserviceproductions. We wanted to give our clients a visual of the type of services we offer when replacing their home appliances. What's missing? Countless emails, several discussions with the client related to potential appliances , coming back to adjust the installation once the kitchen was finished, and a little bit of sweat, it doesn't appear there was sweat, but we did sweat. Humble Beginnings. You have to look with intention, but there are a lot of remnants from yesterday hanging around the store. This connector box has been hanging around for years, but I never really paid attention. It wasnt until recently I noticed it sitting in the back, begging to be noticed. My dad confirmed that he and my grandfather put it together in the early 70s. I was intrigued by the price tags: 30 cents, 10 cents. To think that we sold 30 cent parts the size of a finger nail is beyond me. I love this little box. All connectors are on sale for our Black Friday sale. You will notice more posts on our account like this one. As far as Im concerned posting about our sales isnt engaging to our followers.
