One of the dilemmas with sourdough baking is what to do with the "discard" every time you feed the starter. Most times it ends up in the garbage but thanks to a recommendation from @eminchilli and a shared post by @catherinegelera I found this @sourdoughandolives recipe. Well it has been a while. Ive got the woodstove going and a general clean up has begun. Im looking at projects started but never finished. 2019 was a year dedicated to family.... Enter 2020... My plans were to get back in the shop this Spring upon our return from Florida.....and we all know what happened there. Today is the last day of our 14 day self isolation. Seemed like a good day to get back in the shop.... No excuses. See more

Hey Elaine cattails are put together. Still some painting to do and some leaves to forge but I wont be too much longer finishing them.

I have been working on a few items for the Santas Crafters sale at the United Church this coming Saturday -- 9 to 2. The Churchs Cookie Walk is happening at the same time. Forging a wreath to lay at the Cenotaph in memory of our Grandpa McIntyre. He had the care of horses in his military career and also his own horses on his farm here in the County. Seems like an appropriate design. #100anniveraryofthearmistice #honourourveterans @ Bent and Twisted
