Congratulations to Vera Boettger for winning our Mother's day contest. Vera has worked at our local Library for 14 years now. She is always welcoming, upbeat and helpful to whomever walks through the doors. She has a mothering spirit to the little people through early literacy classes, games and projects of all kinds. The teens love her on teen nights as she always finds ways to make it fun and exciting for them so they want to come back. She has had book clubs, craft clas...ses and something fun for the adults too. She is always contributing to Canada Day events, Rodeo weekend or wherever she can to different events in our community. She truly has a mothering spirit to all and we love and appreciate her for all she does to make our community brighter. Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful Mother's out there who sacrifice and give so much to make others lives better. We celebrate you! See more

Greetings to all. In honor of Mother's Day we would like to bless one special lady with a Mother's Day gift. Do you have a Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister or friend in our community that you feel could use a blessing? Tell us about her and why you feel she deserves to be recognized. We want to hear about all the beautiful ladies in our community all week and on Friday we will pick the one who we feel could use some pampering for all that they do to make others lives a little brighter. We look forward to hearing your wonderful stories about our wonderful women.

Happy April to all. We are waiting for some April showers to bring May flowers. Speaking of which we are having a special promotion next month just in time for Mother's Day. Stay tuned for more details. Hopefully everyone is staying well and keeping their head above water. It has been a tough year for all so we just want to remind you that we are still here to help you with food and certificates if needed. I would like to give a great big shout out to Mandy from Pure N' Simple for all of her hard work today! She cooked, delivered and blessed many people around our community with her delicious Valentines day meals. I have already heard rave reviews.
