Early morning jog vibes today.

In April I saw @daveoutrunsrare was running a 1000km virtual race across Tennessee from May-August and I thought I wish I could do that...but I don’t think I could make the time to run that much this summer Then I saw Dave was hosting the @thequarantinebu ultramarathon and I decided to try my hand. After all, it’s only one day, right? As August ends, I’ve run 1722km, fat passing the 1000km I would have needed to run the race across Tennessee, but I didn’t give myself a cha...nce to be successful because I didn’t sign up. I let me belief that I couldn’t run that distance stop me from even trying. This summer I ran a 57km, a 90km and a 167km race because I gave myself a chance to attempt to be successful. Never limit yourself and what you can’t achieve. Speak up against racial injustice if you believe it is wrong. Have difficult conversations with people and don’t stand idly by. Acknowledge that you have blind spots in your education and socialization and take steps to bring your knowledge level up to today’s standards.
