I will be at the store tomorrow afternoon picking out some books for curbside shopping. If tomorrow works for anyone at 1pm, 130pm or 230pm, I can meet you outside and we will organize your curbside. I don’t mind bringing out whole shelves; my teenager needs to eat or she gets the hangries!!... Just send me a text or a message on here. A few weeks ago, Sophia’s Christmas list was one item: CASH. The other day she gave me her Christmas list for books. Imagine my shock when I read the first item listed: THE COMMUNIST MANIFESTO ... Sophia is 13. But I should expect such from her when, at the gentle age of 4, she asked me this question in her dear sweet voice, ‘Mommy, can you love God and still be a witch?’ And to answer your obvious question, yes I did have a reading copy of that book!

Any fans of Stephen King out there? I’ve never had these in before. They are hardcover graphic novels of the Dark Tower series. At Indigo, they would be $34+ each. ... At your local Bookstore, in the metropolis which is home to Wiarton Willie, these are $21 all in. It’s worth the drive to Wiarton!

As I was flipping through my FB this morning, I saw that my neighbour Symon Says is opening today. Then my darling teenage daughter, who has been in bed for 18 hours, declared that she’s still tired, so she’s going to have a nap. Then our feline friends agreed with the teenager; sleepy time with said teenager rather than quality time with awake adult. ... So, rather then be lonely at home with sleepy creatures, I have decided to open for a few hours. I’ll be here until 230 if there’s anything you need. It really is a great afternoon for some shopping! Our coffee was picked up fresh yesterday; only days old in the roasting department. It would make an excellent end to a sumptuous dinner. Happy Thanksgiving!

The last time I had this book in new, I sold the multiple copies quickly and had a few disappointed customers. I was able to snag a few more so message me or drop in to secure your copy! So many interesting things to find in our cute wee dug up town.

Does anyone else remember when you read Choose Your Own Adventure books as a kid in the ‘80s? Those books are now considered vintage’ and can go for a pricey amount! I have found the modern equivalent! These books are a ‘play your way’ adventure which are linked to arcade games. They are very cool! ... I’ve got three different books in; 2 softcover and 1 hardcover. I think they’d make a great gift for any child who loves gaming! Lots to see and do in Downtown Wiarton!

Did someone ask for Spider-Man? Batman? Marvel? ... The books attached are amazing and I can’t guarantee I’ll have them into the winter season! The Spider-Man is a comic for younger readers. The Batman is a beautiful coffee table book with reprints of comics from the war years. The two Marvel books are great for that lover of the MCU. Sophia has declared she wants them all!
